Monroe Soccer Club (MSC) is a non-profit organization run by volunteers in the community with a professional paid coaching staff. We strive to be one of the top travel programs in the CJSA South West District and the State. We offer boys and girls soccer programs starting at U-9 up to U18. Our coaches are experienced, highly trained educators who continually seek innovative ways to make the world of soccer accessible to the youth in our town.
The focus of MSC is on player development, not necessarily just winning. At younger ages, players require a focus on their individual development and team skills. Placing too much of an emphasis on winning can negatively affect a player’s growth. As a result, playing time from U9 and up will differ, as the level of soccer increases.
Our certified professional coaching staff includes current high school coaches, former pro and collegiate players and former local high school player standouts. We focus on player development in a competitive setting while preparing players to understand the importance of being part of a team and to develop a true passion for the game.
